Darien Music for Youth realizes that music, like people, doesn’t come in one size, shape, note or measure. We embrace and encourage all types of music as we feel it is an integral part of the development and complete education of our youth. MFY works closely with the Darien District Music Director to ensure our programs enrich the music curricular focus in all schools, K-12. Education through interactive performance, creativity through music composition, art and the written word, and outreach to our community are among the ways Music for Youth spreads the power of music.
